I know on Sundays I usually post a some reading material to go with your Sunday coffee. Since today is Easter, I thought I would forgo my usual Sunday post.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Easter weekend with family and friends.
While this is a time to be with loved ones and celebrate with bunnies,
chocolate and Easter egg hunts, remember what Easter is really about.
"Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3
"He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead" Matthew 28:6-7
Amen! I hope you have a great Easter! I'm catching up on some blogging before heading off to the neighborhood egg hunt. It's supposed to be 70* by this afternoon, which is great!
