Make With Me- Short Bread Cookies

Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 cups all purpose flour

To Make:
  • Preheat oven to 325
  • Mix butter and brown sugar, adding in flour as you mix
  • Roll doughe into balls
  • Use a fork to flatten the balls a bit
  • Bake 20-25 minutes
  • Enjoy! 

Notes:
  1. Shortbread are one of my all time favourite cookies.
  2. Press the fork vertically and horizontally into the dough
  3. If you press too much, making the dough thin, you'll have shortbread snaps (as my grandma says) instead of cookies. But they still taste good!
  4. I will sometimes add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, etc to the dough just to mix things up a bit.
