Sunday Social- 5

Another great weekend is coming to an end. I spent the weekend in my hometown. Friday I had pizza from my favourite place, Saturday I went shopping with my sister and today I'm having brunch with two long time friends.Like always, I could use another day to get things done and/or relax a bit. But, I have a meeting this week that I've been looking forward to since December! So that's exciting. Plus, who knows what else the week will bring?

Weekly What

Linking up with my darling friend Jenn from Party of One for Weekly What?

Basically, you put all of your Monday-Friday posts in one post on Saturday and then link up your Saturday post! What a great idea!

Monthly Round Up- February

I'm so excited to be linking up with Jen, from Our Love and Our Blessing, and Mary, from A Happy Wife in New Orleans, for Monthly Round Up. What's Monthly Round Up? On the first Friday of each month, you recap some (or all) of your posts from the previous month!

In February, I...

...started the month off with 5 Questions, answered by Nikki.
...shared (one of) my current favourite song.
...introduced you to Becca.
...talked about a wine bar I want for my apartment.
...wrote about an important day and the most important gift I've ever been given.
...reviewed a book I recently read.
...did a recap of my birthday.
...tried a recipe from Pinterest.
...ended the month with this funny video of Jennifer Lawrence.

Throughout the month, I shared several of my favourite things (here, here and here) and some inspiration (here, here and here).

I also participated in several link ups;
Weekly link ups for Hey! It's Ok (here, here, here and here), Weekly What? (here, here, here and here) and Sunday Social (here, here, here and here).
Monthly link up for Cara Box Reveal.
One time link up for Say My Name

Lots of different posts...I can't wait to see what March will bring!

Favourite Thing- Big Brother Canada

I may have mentioned, more than one on this blog, how much I LOVE Big Brother! It is one of my favourite tv shows. I never miss an episode-unless I'm in a town that was hit by a tornado and a go a week without power, true story (August 2011). And now it's in Canada, so obviously it'll be even better (said the Canadian)!

Big Brother Canada debuted on Wednesday and had the first eviction on Thursday. So I'm two episodes in and loving it. It's too early for me to have a favourite house guest, Suzette has got to go...she's annoying me already!

I love that the house has an outdoor hot tub set to look like a ski chalet- the quick glimpse they showed during the premier immediately made me think of Whistler! I've heard that this is the only part of the house that is actually outside.

I know there will be a few differences between the American and Canadian versions of the show and I can't wait to see how the season plays out!
